Grill of the city
Vance Freymann
Regional Director, New Hampshire
Consigli Construction Co.
Manchester, like other cities, is seeing offices converted to residential “given the lack of inventory in the current housing market,” says Freymann.
Work in the academic sector, from public K-12 to colleges and universities, is also strong, he says. Consigli works at Dartmouth College, the University of New Hampshire, and Phillips Exeter Academy. These institutions and others “have quite a bit more construction planned in the near future,” he adds.
Manchester, Concord and other communities also plan to build or expand K-12 schools to meet the growing needs of school districts and families, he says.
Manufacturing and advanced technology “have good activity and good future potential in this area,” says Freymann, while “larger health care construction has been quieter lately. However, there are several health care projects in the planning phase that we foresee in 2025.”
Consigli is focusing on sustainable building practices and materials such as solid wood. “We’ll see more next year and beyond,” says Freymann.
