Chris and Angie Long, owners of the professional women’s football team, the Kansas City Current, have been named owners of the Midwest Year in recognition of their leadership in the construction of the Kansas City CPKC stadium, the world’s leading worldwide purpose for a women’s professional sports team.
The lengths were strong defenders of the stadium that opened by 2024 next to the Missouri River in the center of Kansas City. They built the $ 120 million stadium, 11,500 places to not only be a main stage for female sports, but also a main sports stage in general.
The stadium is only a part of a multi -phase ribera development project, of $ 1 billion, headed by the long ones and takes place for the next decade. It is expected that it will include hundreds of residential units, restaurants, bars, retail shops, a city square and a walk along the river.
A Longs profile will appear in the May 12 edition of Enr Midwest, which covers 13 states such as Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
