“Phoenix is one of the hottest construction markets in the country,” says Rowley. “We see that growth continues until the end of the year and probably much further.”
Rowley says growth is driven by several factors, “one of which is the large number of companies seeking to move to Arizona thanks to their favorable business climate.”
“Also, Phoenix is quickly becoming a high -tech fabrication center and data center, and the growing population is feeding a booming housing market along with investment in sports and entertainment facilities and other infrastructure,” he says. “All this is feeding a demand for construction services as opposed to what I have seen in my career.”
Sundt is building the two largest water projects in the region, the rehabilitation of water claim plants from Cala de Cala and the city of Gilbert Water Treatment Plant updates and reconstruction of Gilbert’s plants, to help address the growing demand for Arizona water. Several infrastructure projects are planned or launched, including the Santan Loop 202 Sundt motorway project in the city near Chandler, he adds.
