Located in El Segundo, this facility consolidates team operations, player development, media production and community outreach into a single, state-of-the-art headquarters on 14 acres.
A 143,500-square-foot main building houses team offices, a media center, production studios, a sports game studio, training and rehabilitation areas and a full-service kitchen. Direct access roads connect these interiors to soccer fields, a two-lane swimming pool and an elevated outdoor training terrace.
The construction of three full-size natural grass football pitches introduced complex technical and programming challenges. To meet NFL performance standards and avoid delays from the impending historic wet season, the team strategically sequenced grading and drainage work, partnered with a turf specialist and secured custom-grown California desert turf.
A major utility corridor ran beneath the site, requiring precise control of excavation and compaction to protect critical infrastructure. More than 2,000 linear feet of retaining wall was erected to accommodate the elevated design of the facility and maintain a level playing surface on the fields.
At the edge of campus, one corner of the soccer field was directly adjacent to the elevated K-Line subway line. Working at the foot of active light rail required specialized safety training for field crews and ongoing coordination with Metro officials. All three fields and the rest of the facility were completed on time and on budget in June 2024.
