Scorpion Backhoe, Inc., was awarded the Eastern Municipal Water District construction contract for the Medusa Street Access Road and Sewer Emergency Repair Project. $296,810 construction contract. The action also modified existing contracts with Helix Environmental Services, Inc., which will provide the necessary environmental services during the construction phase, and with Inland Foundation Engineering, Inc., which will provide geotechnical services. The board authorized new appropriations totaling $427,119, bringing the project’s total appropriations to $630,082. The Medusa Street sewer serves approximately 700 residences in Solana Vista, Tierra Brisa and Saddle.
