
Ardurra Group Inc., a Miami-based public works engineer, has acquired Cherry Hill, N.J.-based consulting firm Remington & Vernick Engineers in a deal the companies say would expand its consulting and design services in the Northeast.
Ardurra announced that the cash and stock purchase closed this month and will increase its total workforce to 2,600 in more than 120 offices nationwide. Remington & Vernick will initially operate as an affiliated brand of Ardurra before integrating its 500 employees. through 14 offices in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and North Carolina to the parent brand next year.

Ardurra, ranked No. 75 on ENR’s 2025 Top 500 list with $419.3 million in reported revenue, said it has steadily grown its regional operations through acquisitions from private equity firm Littlejohn & Co. LLC, which bought the engineering services company in 2023. Ardurra completed five acquisitions in the United States last year.
Addressing the company’s “aggressive” growth strategy in a podcast interview last year, Águila said his employees are an organic expansion of the companies’ services “at about 20% annually.”
He said: “If you have a champion for something you really love, they will grow it. That’s more of our secret than that. [mergers and acquisitions].”
