As embedded payments reinforce commercial and field service companies

Field shops and services are the foundation of everyday life in the United States, from HVAC technicians and electricians to roofs and landscapers, they understand that having the right tool for work is key to their success.

TFS companies are under pressure to operate smarter and pay faster in the face of increasing costs, talent shortages and increasing expectations of customers. They are finding that business management software is the right tool and is no longer optional. Almost 80% of TFS companies say it will be even more important in the next three yearsPlaying a central role in managing customer jobs, finances and interactions.

To understand how these businesses are adapted, Worldwide for platforms They surveyed 78 United States -based TFS companies using specific software solutions 2025 User Report of Commercial and Field Service Software. The results reveal the critical technologies that stir the industry.

Leading this evolution is embedded funding.

Adaptation to industry pressures

The report highlights five key challenges promoted by TFS companies towards intelligent integrated software solutions:

  • Work scarcity: A third of respondents have difficulty hiring and retaining qualified workers. This has a direct impact on the delivery of jobs.
  • Administrative Overload: About 15% say that unpredictable supply chains and other problems can reduce productivity operations and harm.
  • Find customers: Almost many, about 14%, say that the acquisition and retention of customers is increasingly difficult to increase costs and agile competitors.
  • Boxwood gaps: One in new ones says that late payments create financial instability and tension operations.
  • Increasing costs: The same group says that the management of inflation and supply restrictions is to squeeze the margins.

In response, TFS companies invest in technology. Almost half of the companies surveyed in WorldPay, 45%, increase their software budgets this year, especially in solutions that are specifically adapted to their industry. The aim is to promote income growth, reduce administrative burden and maintain narrower control over financial health.

Business management software becomes essential

TFS companies require transactions without problems and want to make key components of the client’s experience, such as the reservation, the provision of budgets and processing payments, a point of differentiation that sets them apart from the competitors.

27% of the companies surveyed are based on integrated payment capabilities. Almost a quarter -24%-they say that their software has improved customer service and access to business critical information.

In addition, 91% of TFS companies want the card payment capabilities to be incorporated directly to their software. This simplifies the administration, automates some manual payment tasks previously and increases the cash flow. Combined with advantages such as return, minor processing commissions and integrated credit options, the adoption of embedded payments can become a profit driving engine.

Despite recognizing the benefits, some companies are reluctant to deepen. Those who often doubt quote:

  • Insufficient customization

Until software suppliers cannot facilitate these concerns, adoption in the industry may delay -TFS companies will be able to lose the value of the payment experiences inserted.

With 94% of TFS companies that say software is essential for daily operations, it is clear that the industry is adopting digital transformation. These businesses want a platform that integrates everything they need to operate and feed their growth.

The embedded payments can be at the center of this innovation by simplifying processes, improving financial health and giving customers the quick and good experience they expect. These solutions must also be easy to implement and adapt to the unique needs not only of the industry, but also of each business.
