The Niles Township High School District 219 Addition and Renovation Project addressed school safety issues and improved the visitor experience, resulting in a three-story, 43,000-square-foot, 16,000-sq.-ft. .

New features include a secure lobby, new spaces for parent and visitor services, collaborative learning studios, classrooms, student commons and meeting spaces.

The addition also created a security zone for spaces used by outside visitors that are separate from the secure student side of the building. This allows visitors to undergo appropriate screening procedures before entering.

FH Paschen faced several challenges ranging from building on an active school campus to unforeseen supply chain issues, but the company was able to provide solutions thanks to its strong working relationships between all stakeholders .
