BLUEBEAM, a construction management platform based on the sharing and brand of PDFs of construction documents, Ai Firmus, a platform for the design review and analysis of artificial design risks, on September 4. The acquisition will provide AI AI capabilities of firmus document: as an early identification of the risk related to design, coordination problems of cross discipline and area gaps, as well as the phase of comparison of phase bases and phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase and stoves phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase phase. Reports: Directly in the flow of BlueBeam review and marking workflows.
It is the latest acquisition of the owner of Bluebeam Nametschek Group to invest in artificial intelligence construction documents as a way to detect problems and automate the flow -based flows.
Firmus, a Tel Aviv -based startup, based on Israel, allows construction professionals to use and in estimation, tender, pre -construction and quality takeoff through early hiring processes and operations. The AI of Firmus analyzes documents and construction drawings, identifying missing information, transversal discipline disciplines and scope lagoons.
“Drawings are the universal language of construction, and this is where the risk is hidden,” said Shir Abecasis, CEO of Firmus. “By joining -BlueBeam, we are placing the first firmus intelligence exactly where millions of AEC professionals already work. Together we will help teams on the surface above, communicate them clearly, protect their reputation and advance projects with greater confidence and confidence.”
For Bluebeam, the acquisition leads to its platform a stronger pre -construction analysis engine to its users who have already adopted its PDF -based platform that provides a 4D planning in 2D documents.
“We definitely see documents such as the future of construction (i) we believe that these flows of work will continue to improve with artificial intelligence,” said Usman Shuja, general director of Bluebeam.
He added that Firmus provides an AI engine that understands 2D pdfs at the granular level and is able to detect gaps in scope, inconsistencies and changes between disciplines and reviews. The integration of firmus capabilities, he said, provides the construction teams a guarantee of quality that reduces the reviews and “the moments of stopping late in a project”.
In other news by Bluebeam, the company has favored its collaboration with Procore on the latter’s construction management platform. PROCORORE DOCUMENTS + BUEBEAM AND PROCOROR SUBSTITUALS + BLUEBEAM are new integrations between the two platforms created to speed up collaboration and to ensure that construction teams work from a single source of truth among their projects. Users can now mark files stored in Process documents directly to Bluebeam, for example, and with Process + Bluebeam shipments, users can launch study sessions from Procore, reviewing the shipments collaboratively and returning documents marked with a full audit trace on the Bluebeam platform.
