Case Utility Plus Backhoe
Case construction equipment arrives in 2024 with new ironworking tools and support to help rental businesses succeed.
The company will highlight its next generation of practical machinery innovation at The ARA Show (Booth 4651) in New Orleans, February 18-21, marking a new era of Case innovation in the equipment rental industry.
Case will showcase its latest models and product lines, including backhoes, mini excavators, skid steer loaders, small articulated loaders and more. Equipment such as the award-winning Utility Plus backhoe will be on display in the rental market, along with a wide range of new attachments.
“The equipment rental industry is an extremely competitive space, and to stay ahead, rental companies need versatile equipment and strong dealer support that can deliver a greater return on their investments,” said Terry Dolan, vice president of North America for Case Construction Equipment.
“That’s why Case has refreshed its line with new fast, smart and smooth machines that deliver more bang for the buck, and we’re backing these machines with unmatched support in North America.”
Case has added telematics to its entire model line on nearly every machine, with five years of coverage at no cost to the customer, allowing rental companies to validate hours of use and incorporate timely preventative maintenance into their schedules
The Utility Plus backhoe offers powerful performance that is Business Smart
Among the highlights of the show, the award-winning Case Utility Plus backhoe offers full-size backhoe performance in a flexible and efficient platform that’s easy to own, easy to maintain and easy on the ground. Designed for landscaping, agriculture, general construction, utility work and more, this 74hp machine focuses on simplicity while offering options like Extendahoe and attachment performance via one-way auxiliary hydraulics, allowing rental companies to build from a simple base model to a machine that does more.
The backhoe also features a spacious cab with excellent sight lines to all work areas, extreme serviceability with a maintenance-free emissions system (no DPF or DEF) and easy controls. Mechanical and pilot controls are also available to suit different operator preferences.
New small articulated loader, mini track loader offers compact, muscle grade construction
As part of a new product line launching in 2023, the SL12 TR Telescopic Articulated Small Loader will make its debut at The ARA Show. The SL12 TR offers extra-long reach for customers who need to load trucks or move material in hard-to-reach locations.
This flexible machine offers powerful capabilities while minimizing turf damage thanks to articulated steering. And when it comes to attachments, Case skid steer loaders are some of the most versatile machines on the market, with over 110 Case attachments available.
Also on display for the first time at The ARA Show, the TL100 Mini Track Loader packs a huge range of capabilities into a small, easy-to-carry and easy-to-carry machine. With construction-grade features and over 40 available attachments, this versatile model offers rental companies a powerful platform to minimize manual labor at a lower total cost of ownership than the typical machine. With a rated operating capacity of 1,000 pounds, the TL100 can handle the work of multiple workers on jobs such as digging, earthmoving, placing fence posts, hand brushing and grading, according to the manufacturer.
More ways for rental companies to get more traction
Other highlights include new operator-friendly mini-excavators (including an all-electric model), popular B-Series compact loader models and a high-performance lift truck with an all-new cab option designed, built and factory installed. A wide range of accessories will also be on display, including buckets, hydraulic compactors, augers and root grabs.
“We’ve been working hard to bring new machines to the rental market,” Dolan said. “With so many new and versatile machines, there’s never been a better time to grow your rental business with Case.”
