Contractors are being sought for a repair and installation framework worth up to £3.2 billion.
Social housing consortium EN:Procure is calling for tenders for its new framework for projects in Yorkshire, Humberside, the East Midlands and the North West of England.
Jobs covered by the framework include refurbishment, maintenance, repairs and minor construction work, as well as the installation of technology and energy efficiency measures in homes, commercial buildings and infrastructure assets.
Contractors are expected to develop their own social value strategies during the life of the framework, which will run from the end of this year until 2027.
An earlier version of the framework, launched in 2019, delivered more than £275 million in repairs, maintenance and installation, EN:Procure said.
CA: Procure is part of Efficiency North, which also provides employment and training, land development and funding and support for social and economic regeneration.
CEO Lee Parkinson said: “Following the success of the current version of the framework over the past four years, we look forward to welcoming bids for this next iteration.
“As well as providing a great service for those using the framework to procure installation and repair work, successful applicants will also need to match Efficiency North’s commitment to the training and development of ‘skills, including the use of learning’.
Prequalification questionnaires must be returned by September 1, 2023. More information available here.
