Dallas-based Mycon General Contractors has added a new preconstruction manager to its Nashville team, the company announced Monday.

Josh Yoder, who has 16 years of preconstruction experience, will lead the company’s preconstruction team in Nashville and guide projects in the industrial, manufacturing and retail sectors from preconstruction to completion.

As Preconstruction Manager, Yoder will collaborate with internal teams, clients, architects and subcontractors in an effort to smooth project transitions from concept to construction. He will be responsible for driving efficiency, managing costs and innovating at every stage of the construction process.

Yoder has worked as an estimator and preconstruction manager in the Nashville area, according to his LinkedIn profile. It has provided preconstruction services for more than 2 million square feet of projects with budgets up to $80 million, according to the statement shared with Construction Dive.

“His deep knowledge of market dynamics and strong subcontractor relationships in the Nashville area will further strengthen MYCON’s ability to deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions that meet our customers’ growing demands, ultimately turning the your dreams into reality,” Chip Myers, Mycon. partner and senior vice president, he said in the statement.

Mycon has annual revenue of more than $565 million, according to the release, with a portfolio spanning retail, multifamily, industrial, automation, office, healthcare and religious projects.
