Turner Construction has begun to build a 46 -storey commercial tower in Madison Avenue de Manhattan. The 930,000 square meter project, designed by Kohn Pederson Fox, includes an underground entrance that will provide access to Madison Concourse of Grand Central between 44 and 45th Street.
“We have the honor of contributing to a project that not only improves the iconic horizon of New York, but also improves access to public transport,” said Luigi Morfea, executive of the construction of Turner Construction Co., in a statement.
The building will house 40 working lands with land plates ranging from 27,500 square meters to the podium to 21,500 square meters in the tower. Specialized soils include private terraces and those with high ceilings.
A double height club on the upper floor will provide spaces for food and relaxation. The facilities will include bicycle storage with lockers and showers.
