Carol Holland

The Construction Management Association of America appointed Carol Holland board chair Based in Washington, DC, she is senior vice president of Cornerstone Concilium Inc., an engineering and management consulting firm. Holland, who managed the $2 billion Pentagon Wedge 2-5 renovation project, is a U.S. Navy veteran and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.

The New York Department of Design and Construction has hired Nathan Toth as financial director. Most recently, he was a principal at Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies. He was also deputy director of infrastructure and economic development for the City of New York and chief operating officer of the city’s School Construction Authority.

Paul Drecksel

Construction management company STO Building Group, New York, elevated Paul Drecksel to the president of the company. He was chief operating officer of Layton Construction, a unit of STO, joining in 2013 as general counsel.

Promoted by LeChase Construction Services, Rochester, New York Cheryl Colavecchio i Russell Smith to senior vice president of vice president. Colavecchio manages organizational development, training and human resources. Smith leads marketing, communications and business development.

Brian Killinger has been named to head asset management at Boston-based Gilbane Development Co. He was Senior Vice President of Asset Management at LivCor LLC.

Natasha Avenessians

New York City-based professional services firm STV has appointed Natasha Avenessians as corporate chief of staff. She was senior operations advisor to the city’s deputy mayor, responsible for its major infrastructure projects and former chief of staff for the Long Island Rail Road. Kristen Van Gilstpreviously held the position, is now deputy director of operations. The firm also elevated transport managers Suresh Karre, Derek Overstreet i Michael Randolph to the Vice President, based in Fairfax, Virginia; Richmond; and Washington, DC, respectively. Joseph leader he has also joined STV as vice president and director of engineering for its northern transport operating group. He was a senior director of rail projects at the design firm HDR and had also served as director of operations for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in Washington, DC.

Robert Haughey has joined DeSimone Consulting Engineering in New York City as transportation practice director to oversee strategy, program management and technical consulting for its elevator and building systems work. He was a senior vertical transportation consultant for Lerch Bates Inc.

Jason Stouffer

It’s called Kinsley Construction, based in York, Pennsylvania Jason Stouffer as CEO, succeeding Christopher Kinsleywho retired last year. Stouffer had been a director of operations, starting his career with the company as a laborer. Andrew Kinsley i James Kinsley they are now co-COOs.

The architecture team, Chelsea, Massachusetts, promoted director Thomas Schultz to the general manager, to succeed Michael D. Binettewho was appointed president. Among the projects Schultz has led is the new global headquarters for clothing brand Converse in Boston.

Dan DeRooyvice president of finance at contractor Skanska USA Building in New York City has been elevated to chief financial officer of that unit and Skanska USA Inc., succeeding Leo Sinicin, who has retired
