David W. Miller

David W. Miller95, a pioneer in the study and global practice of groundwater geology and the flow of pollutants and co -founder and CEO of consultant Geraghty & Miller, Syosset, New York, died on March 7 in Brewster, Mass.

In 1957, with equality with James Geraghty, the firm was acquired in 1993 by the Dutch world consultant Heidemij and became central North America in Colorado, based in the company, was referred to Arcadis.

Miller was the main author of a report from the final congress on groundwater repair and with Geraghty, the former president of the company who died in 2011, wrote many of the definitive guidelines and texts in the field.

A maximum official of the United States Environmental Protection Agency in the 1980’s said that the main ones were “a decade or more ahead of all others in terms of technology”.

Miller retired in 1997, but continued to consult.
