Glencar has won a contract to build a 190,598 sq ft warehouse in Nottingham.
The value of the contract has not been disclosed.
The speculative 14-hectare development will include a “state-of-the-art” distribution center as well as offices, a car park and a service yard.
The scheme, located on the Fulwood industrial estate around 1.5 miles from the M1, comes from Rula Developments backed by investor Blackbrook.
Construction is ongoing and the property is expected to be available for occupancy in April 2024.
In a statement, Glencar chief executive Eddie McGillycuddy said the project was in an “important location within a well-established logistics cluster in the East Midlands”.
He added: “This is the second instruction we have received from Rula Developments to date and we are absolutely delighted to be back on site delivering them.”
The announcement comes after Glencar won a £28m warehouse project at the Port of Liverpool development at the end of May.
The company, which was ranked 83rd in the CN100 list of leading contractors in 2022, recently announced that it had more than doubled its turnover, placing it among the UK’s largest construction companies.
