Granite construction has reached a contract of $ 88 million to improve a winding and mountainous section of South California.

Also known as the Ortega road, the complete road extends from the I-5 to the Pacific coast of California, near San Juan Capistrano to the Palm Desert, California, in the eastern interior of the state.

The granite section of the road will work on this project flies through the Santa Ana mountains. The road runs a turn of hair that opens to the views of the Lake Elsinore in the county of Riverside, welcomed by tens of thousands of travelers who roll the hill daily in Orange County.

The granite will also resurface on the road, building in its work in the area. It is planned to start construction in April, with a projected date of November 2026.
