Lansdale Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a stolen backhoe.
On Monday, July 24, according to police, the owner reported his backhoe was missing from the back of the North Penn Little League fields located at 998 Moyer Road.
Police say the backhoe was previously seen on camera traveling through the ball fields and onto Moyer Road toward Schwab Road.
The backhoe is a 2000 Case 580SL with the word “Louie” written in white paint on the backhoe door. The backhoe is valued at $30,000; the VIN number is JJGO277211.
Anyone who may have information about this theft or the current whereabouts of the backhoe is asked to contact Det. James Gray of the Lansdale Borough Police at (215) 368-1801. Tips can also be submitted via Crimewatch PA.
