Florida

International Food Group, a subsidiary of Sysco Corp., plans to build a $90 million food distribution facility on a 171-acre site in Jacksonville’s Westlake Industrial Park. The scope includes the construction of a 270,000 square meter building, as well as the purchase and installation of refrigeration and freezing systems, automated conveyors and bar coding, wrapping and loading dock equipment and systems. The company expects the facility to be operational by the end of 2029. International Food Group will use the facility to store and distribute fresh, frozen and non-perishable food products. Indiana

United States Steel Corp. plans to upgrade the hot strip mill at its Gary Works steel mill in Gary. The scope of the project includes the purchase and installation of equipment and systems to increase the capacity of the hot strip mill for heavy gauge pipe and automotive steel. US Steel also plans to upgrade Blast Furnace No. 14 at Gary Works and build a slag recycling facility at Mon Valley Works in Pennsylvania. Iowa

Procter & Gamble Co. plans to expand its oral care product plant in Iowa City. The scope of the project includes the construction of a building of 150,000 square meters; purchase and installation of automated conveyors, as well as parts storage, molding, assembly, testing and packaging equipment and related systems. Construction on the estimated $150 million project is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company will use the plant to produce manual, battery-assisted and electric toothbrushes. Texas

Aumovio plans to expand its 215,000-square-foot automotive component manufacturing and distribution facility in New Braunfels. The $110 million project scope includes the construction of a 65,000 square meter building extension; and purchase and installation of conveyors and molding, machining, welding, assembly, testing and packaging equipment and systems.
