
The Texas Department of Transport has awarded Jordan Foster Construction two contracts for $ 183.3 million to widen the United States 90 road to Bexar County near San Antonio and improve the 71 State Road in Bastrop County.

In the 90’s between Interstate 410 and Loop 1604 in Bexar County, Jordan Foster, based in San Antonio, will fully rebuild 2.55 miles of main lanes, widening the four -lane lane road. To maintain the flow, the main lanes will never be reduced below two lanes per direction, except during occasional night operations; Txdot must complete the segments of the facade road before the reconstruction of the main lane begins.

The main subcontractors include Lone Star paving for asphalt paving; The Levy Co. for the work of electric and smart transport systems; and Beaird’s perforation for perforated axes. The materials of the third coast, Texas Materials and Texas Highway Walls will provide specialized services.
Although no contract implies federal funds – and has no formal goals of DBE or SBE – Jordan Foster has pledged to involve multiple disadvantaged companies and small companies with which there is existing relationships, the spokesman said.
