Lane Construction Corp. won a $190 million contract build I-4 at the State Route 33 interchange in Lakeland, Florida, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based civil company said in an Oct. 28 news release. The job further strengthens Florida as a key market for the company.
Lane, a subsidiary of Italian megabuilder Webuild Group, will rebuild the existing interchange to accommodate increased traffic and a future rail corridor in the I-4 median.
