The construction area industries aligned the principles of lean construction with tools designed to meet the specific needs of a megaplant of industrial manufacture. Technologies were conceived from direct communication in the field, brainstorming and evidence.
The Bzi team used its UNILINK tool owner to address waste by reducing the wait, unnecessary movement and sub -production. Optimizing work flows, Unilink significantly improved productivity and safety. Traditional methods to place 12 beams took 60-90 minutes. Unilink use reduced task time to about 10 to 15 minutes, according to Bzi.
The extensive Deputy Transportation of the Contractor (WSC) addressed inefficiencies with the manipulation of materials such as the additional processing of material, unnecessary movement and excess of transport. Traditional methods take about an hour per load of traffic.
The WSC attachment rationalized the download to 10 minutes, requiring less resources. In addition, accession improved security by eliminating complex cranes operations, further decreasing possible accidents and delays.
Bzi also created a new process for panelization that allowed a montage on the site on the ground. Although the process is used in other projects, it was reimagined specifically for this project.
The nine -month work was completed below the budget and was scheduled without registered incidents and without lost accidents.
