Located next to the Georgia Tech campus, in Midtown Atlanta, Mixed Mixed Science Square of $ 222 million combines a life science building and a multifamily residential tower.
The LIFE Science Lab of 13 floors, of 390,000 square meters, has a laboratory and an office space, as well as a coffee and a gym. The eleventh floor includes six “graduating suites” for a total of 32,338 square meters of fully built laboratories and offices.
Grace residences include a six -story and half -height wooden structure and a 14 -story high concrete structure. A concrete podium slab connects to level 2 of the high height and serves as a level 2 plate for the whole half height. The five levels of wooden frame construction began in the podium slab.
The entire air conditioning system is united with all the main equipment, ducts and pipes that were prepared outside the place in 116 skates. The strategy saved 10 weeks in the installation of all mechanical equipment.
The attic area meant 116 total options, with four refrigerators weighed 8,792 pounds combined the dry weight of all the attic teams, excluding water, ascended to 386,000 LB.
As the heights of the floor on the floor are significantly different between the two buildings, a 950 space parking roof that was connected to them by means of a combination of prefabricated methods and castings on the site. The roof is made up of 20% in buildings and 80% prefabricated.
The 32 -month project was completed in time and budget.
