The Michigan DNR customer customer service has been selected to receive the award of excellence in sustainability.
Construction projects that reduce pollution, retain vital resources and protect biodiversity deserve recognition. That is why Each year Enr Midwest recognizes those who make the additional mile to strive for sustainability as part of its annual prizes for better projects.
Sustainability ships are evaluated based on their general sustainability strategy, choice of materials, energy savings and other factors exposed to a matter of testing. Although certifications such as Leed and Well were considered a advantage, they were not needed.
The projects are also judged on how teams exceeded the standard industry requirements, giving higher scores to the entries that clearly demonstrated strategies that lead to strong sustainability results. The shipments are also judged for the good that the project team passed and beyond the requirements of the project’s reference industry. Entries that clearly identify the strategies that have excellent results of sustainability are higher than the more general answers. To ensure equity, judges do not score or vote submissions from their own companies.
The sustainability judge this year was Jill Katic, director, sustainability, Barton Malow.
The following are the projects that have been recognized with the awards and will be outlined at the November Midwest November issue and also recognized at the Awards breakfast on November 18 in the region in Chicago.
