ENR Midwest announced the category winners of its Best Projects competition in mid-August, recognizing the best in design and construction in the 11-state region. In addition to these awards, the judges selected three projects from among all the winners as finalists for this year’s Project of the Year. All winning project teams will be recognized in Chicago at a breakfast on November 15 at the Blackstone Hotel, and the selected project of the year will also be announced.
ENR Midwest will also recognize several other award winners this year, including Terminal Owner of the Year, the Railroad Association of St. Louis; Design Company of the Year, Terracon; Contractor of the Year, Clune Construction; and Specialty Contractor of the Year, Reflex Window + Wall. Legacy Award winner Ray Kowalik, former CEO of Burns and McDonnell, will also be recognized.
