Founded in 2001 in Chicago by Rodrigo d’Escoto, Jr., Reflection Window + Wall has grown into a national architectural building enclosure company specializing in the engineering, preconstruction and management of facade construction projects.
The company’s domestic revenue increased from $158 million in 2022 to $209 million in 2023. The company relies on facilities for about 90% of its revenue while looking to bring new products to market and raise industry standards.
For these reasons and more, he has been named ENR Midwest’s 2024 Specialty Contractor of the Year. Reflection Window + Wall manufactures proprietary systems including curtain walls and window systems designed to meet the creative needs of designers, developers and architects.
In 2023, it reached agreements with aluminum suppliers in India for its architectural glass wall products that used renewable and low-carbon energy sources to significantly reduce emissions. The company was also awarded US patents on technology that makes windows adapt to weather conditions and allows buildings to use less energy.
ENR Midwest will profile the company in its Sept. 16 edition, along with the full specialty contractor rankings, which are accepting submissions through Aug. 5.
