Howell Construction joined project teams from UCHealth, Davis Partnership Architects and site developer Remedy Medical Properties in the groundbreaking of a new medical office building in Green Valley Ranch, Colorado. The $4.7 million project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025. The building’s exterior will feature six different facades, including Nichiha fiber cement panels, masonry stone at the entrance, brick veneer , fabricated metal panel wall accents, showcase mount and curtain wall mount. UCHealth’s interior construction will include connecting to city utilities and creating designated spaces for physical therapy, urgent care and primary care clinics. The space will include exam rooms, treatment areas, registration, restrooms, a lactation room, X-ray and mammography rooms, and staff rest areas. The walls of the X-ray room are lined with lead and all penetrations will be sealed with lead.

The Sundt Foundation announced an award of $15,000 in grants to three nonprofit organizations in the Salt Lake City area, with the Infertility Resource Center of Utah, Jewish Family Service and the Foundation of the Salt Lake City Police, each receiving $5,000 to support programs that address critical community needs. said “Our foundation members are proud to support these organizations that play a vital role in meeting diverse needs,” said Jasen Bennie, board member for the foundation’s Salt Lake City region. Grants are awarded quarterly through an application and review process overseen by a local Sundt employee-owner committee.
