Engineering, environmental and professional services firm WSP has announced Steve Blazek, Tim Langer i Sean Berryall formerly with the US Department of Energy, have joined the company to help clients mitigate risk, deliver faster results and reduce costs. Blazek and Langer join the Denver office, and Berry is in Phoenix.
Chris Strawn has been promoted to vice president of civil engineering at Ware Malcomb. In this role, he oversees the firm’s land development civil engineering practice and leads the expansion of its civil services across the Americas. Prior to joining Ware Malcolm, Strawn ran a Denver-based civil engineering firm for more than 10 years.

Kimberly Watanabe has joined HNTB as a senior project manager. He oversees engineering and aviation project management strategies from the firm’s Denver office. Prior to joining HNTB, Watanabe spent a decade working as an airside engineering supervisor at Denver International Airport. Most recently, he helped develop and lead the airspace capital improvements program, optimizing federal grants for efficient use of resources while prioritizing airport security.

Howell Construction has promoted Tom Nelson to the project manager and Tyler Pak to the project manager/assistant project manager. Nelson graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in construction management. Pak graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in civil engineering.
