Josh Tall

CFC Construction has promoted Josh Tall to the purchasing manager. Thall has more than 20 years of experience in construction and development in the hospitality, multi-family, commercial, industrial and healthcare sectors.

Engineering, environmental and professional services firm WSP has announced Steve Blazek, Tim Langer i Sean Berryall formerly with the US Department of Energy, have joined the company to help clients mitigate risk, deliver faster results and reduce costs. Blazek and Langer join the Denver office, and Berry is in Phoenix.

Chris Strawn

Chris Strawn has been promoted to vice president of civil engineering at Ware Malcomb. In this role, he oversees the firm’s land development civil engineering practice and leads the expansion of its civil services across the Americas. Prior to joining Ware Malcolm, Strawn ran a Denver-based civil engineering firm for more than 10 years.

Founder has sold Englewood, Colo.-based engineering and construction program and project management firm LS Gallegos Llorenç Gallegos to the managers of the company Kelly Angelpresident; Melanie Ursodirector of operations; i Seth Joraanstadfinancial director. Gallegos will continue as chairman emeritus to support the company’s transition and continued growth.

Kimberly Watanabe

Kimberly Watanabe has joined HNTB as a senior project manager. He oversees engineering and aviation project management strategies from the firm’s Denver office. Prior to joining HNTB, Watanabe spent a decade working as an airside engineering supervisor at Denver International Airport. Most recently, he helped develop and lead the airspace capital improvements program, optimizing federal grants for efficient use of resources while prioritizing airport security.

civil engineer Riley Dvorak has joined the Concrete Masonry Checkoff organization as National Design Technical Director. Dvorak spent more than a decade at Rinker Materials, a manufacturer of reinforced concrete products.

Neenan Archistruction has long elevated the leader Bill Piggy in the role of president. In addition, David Shigekaneformer president of the company for 10 years, has been appointed CEO of the company. Pigg’s 27-year tenure at Neenan Archistruction has included roles as preconstruction manager, project executive, director of operations and vice president.

President and CEO of Topcon Positioning Systems, Ray O’Connorhe will retire in September 2025 and become chairman of the firm’s board of directors. Succeeding O’Connor as president and CEO is Ivan Di Federicowho currently serves as Topcon’s Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.

Erika Moody

Erika Moodypresident of Helix Architecture + Design, was recently inaugurated as the 2024-2025 president of the board of directors of the International Interior Design Association.

Howell Construction has promoted Tom Nelson to the project manager and Tyler Pak to the project manager/assistant project manager. Nelson graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in construction management. Pak graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in civil engineering.
