NAVY chooses 10 companies for $ 15 million Language GUAM CONSTRUCTION

The United States Navy selected 10 contractors to compete to work with an indefinite delivery of $ 15 billion/indefinite amount of the multiple amount of multiple construction on September 10 and selected five companies separately for another $ 1.5 billion language contract that covers work in a British Indian Ocean British territory facility.

The eight -year -old contract, eight years awarded by the Command for Engineering Systems of the PACIFICA Naval Facilities (NAVFAC), mainly refers to construction projects in Guam, according to a Department of Defense. Selected companies include BL Harbert International LLC; JV Perini of Black Construction; Federal container Services LLC; Core Tech-HDCC-Kajima LLC; ECC EXPEDICARY CONSTRUCTORS LLC; Gilbane Federal JV; Granite-Obayashi 3, to JV; Hensel Phelps Construction Co .; Dwarf inc.; and SLSCO LTD.

Thirteen companies submitted proposals for the contract, according to the Department of Defense.

The projects under the language contract may include new constructions or accessories in barracks, administrative offices, communications facilities, schools, hospitals, industrial sites, warehouses, transport infrastructure and other bases developments, according to Navfac. The contract comes when the United States has been building its military facilities in Guam.

“ The award of this contract marks an important milestone for our Navfac team and the mission of the Department of Defense, as it represents a long-term investment in Guam’s critical infrastructure, improving our capacity to deliver resistant, modern and strategically important facilities that support both operational preparation and regional stability, ” said Captain Brunt Paul, a vice as vice as a statement.

Navfac Pacific also awarded the first order of task by virtue of the contract to SLSCO LTD. The fixed fixation task order of $ 41.8 million covers the construction of a low -rise school installation at the base of the Andersen Air Force in Guam. Work on this project is planned for completion until August 2028.

Supporting Installation Contract

The second smallest language contract awarded September 10. The installation “provides logistical support to the operating forces deployed in the liability areas of the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf in support of national policy goals”, according to the Navy.

Navfac Far East received five offers for the contract and selected five companies. Are CBRE/JJ UK JV LLC; DGC JV; ECC Diego Garcia LLC; MVL Diego Garcia JV LLC; and Black Construction/Mace International JV. Officials also selected Black Construction/Mace International VJ for an unspecified seed project of $ 6.1 million, according to a defense notice.

The contract has a base period of five years more for three more years.
