Navy chooses eight companies for a contract of construction of the Pacific Death Initiative of $ 15 million

United States Navy officials selected eight companies to compete for task orders under a building contract of $ 18 million, eight years, eight years old/indefinite quantity of construction for design and design design projects. The contract focuses on the work that supports the initiative of the Pacific of the Department of Defense.

Command of Engineering Systems of Naval Installation (NAVFAC) Pacific received 13 offers for the work, according to the notice of the award of the defense contract of the defense of September 17. Selected companies include ACCIONA CMS PHILIPPINES LLC; CDM, to JV; Core Tech-HDCC-Kajima LLC; ECC EXPEDICARY CONSTRUCTORS LLC; Gilbane Federal JV; Dwarf inc .; and Parsons Government Services Inc.

Congress established the Pacific Death initiative in its National Defense Authorization Act of 2021 to “increase capacity and preparation in the Indo-Pacific region”.

Captain Brandon Casperson, director of the Indo-Pacific Command Engineering Division, said in a statement that the contract “rationalizes the process of acquiring the main infrastructure projects, allowing a faster execution of essential improvements to the Indopacom responsibility zone”.

Navfac Pacific also awarded the first fixed price task order of $ 116.3 million by contract virtue to ECC Expeditionary LLC Builders. It covers the design and construction of a helicopter sea hangar complex at the base of the Andersen Air Force in Guam. Navy officials expect the work to be completed in November 2028.

Other works can be done under the language contract in Australia, Papua Nova Guinea, Timor Leste, Micronesia, Philippines, Commonwealth in the north of Marianas Island, Midway and Wake Island, according to the warning warning.

The adjudication occurs after Navfac Pacific was awarded another $ 15 million language contract to 10 companies to work mainly in Guam and Navfac Far East Grant a contract of $ 1.5 million to five companies earlier this month.
