Designed and built at Doosan Bobcat’s modern manufacturing facility in Chennai, India, the B730 M Series is a new addition to the Bobcat backhoe range, providing a model for the value market. Available in a selection of different configurations and combined with accessories for various applications, the B730 M Series is ideal for use in construction, rental, roadworks, demolition, excavation, landscaping and many other industries.

The B730 M Series is designed with a strong focus on durability in harsh conditions, incorporating recognized industry-leading components known for reliability and ease of service and maintenance in the field. These high-quality, proven components come from well-known brands, including the Perkins 1104 engine, Carraro axles and transmission, and Parker pumps, ensuring superior reliability and effortless service.
Class-leading performance
The proven high-torque 94hp Perkins engine is well balanced with the tandem gear hydraulic pump and Synchro Shuttle (SPS) transmission to provide excellent productivity and fuel efficiency. The B730 M Series hydraulic system also provides class-leading backhoe breakout forces, along with the highest load lift and thrust breakout in its class. This is combined with a backhoe digging depth of 4.63m (standard arm) to ensure the M Series B730 is perfect for any site.
Independent steering pump and hydraulic unloading system are standard, helping the machine provide power only when needed and keep systems cool in tough working conditions. The front loader’s “return to dig” feature is also standard and aids productivity when dozing and loading materials.
High comfort operation
The spacious cab, smart layout and comfortable seat provide plenty of room to drive, load, dig and reposition the machine, regardless of shift length.
Excellent 360° visibility from the cab and intuitive operation help make any job easier for the driver. The large rear window offers great visibility for backhoe work; if needed, it moves up and down with ease and locks securely to the cab roof. There are also side windows and hooks that open fully to keep the door open for increased ventilation when the optional climate control system is not needed.

Customers can have their machines set up from the factory with the ergonomic control layout they’re used to, so there’s no worry when switching from another brand to Bobcat. Being able to select a familiar and custom control pattern (ISO, SAE or SAE-X) from the factory allows operators to simply step into the machine and get to work right away.
