Global construction company Skanska has promoted Daniel Patarozzi to vice president and account manager for Skanska USA Building, to lead healthcare operations in New York and New Jersey.
Developing from his previous role as vice president and project executive, Patarozzi will be responsible for managing and leading the growth of Skanska’s healthcare and life sciences operations through sourcing and sourcing new projects, as well as overseeing the execution of the work in progress.
With more than 23 years of construction experience at Skanska, holding various leadership roles, Patarozzi has extensive knowledge in all facets of the industry, including renovation, restoration, alteration and modernization. Specializing in Skanska’s life sciences and health portfolio, Patarozzi has led the administration and construction oversight of many notable projects, including the extensive interior renovation of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, the expansion of the emergency department at NYU Langone Health, the ambulatory care ward at Mt. Sinai Health System, as well as the construction of the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center’s new primary care center.
Patarozzi holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Illinois State University and is a Fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE).
