ENR New England is pleased to announce the group of regional winners of this year’s Best Project, with 19 projects awarded in 13 main categories.

In addition to the 2024 main category winners listed below, the Best Projects Safety and Sustainability honorees, who are judged by a separate panel of safety and sustainability experts, will be announced next month in ENR New England’s free e-newsletter. The finalists for this year’s ENR New England Project of the Year will also be announced soon.

Jury selection for this year’s Overall Project of the Year from among the Best Project winners listed below will be announced in the November issue of ENR New England and at the ENR New England Best Projects awards event . For more information on the Regional Best Projects event, visit https://www.enr.com/enr-best-projects-awards/boston. This year’s winning projects in the major categories, which are listed at the bottom of this post, will also be described in depth in the November print issue of ENR New England. All projects were located in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.

Projects were evaluated based on the project team’s ability to overcome challenges, safety, build/design quality, and contribution to industry and community. Due to the large number of entries, we are only able to name a fraction of the projects submitted each year, so projects that did not win this year can be submitted next year if they are still eligible!

This year’s New England judges for the main categories were Scott Bascom, Associate Architect at Sasaki, and Aidan Sullivan, Assistant Project Manager at Consigli Construction.

Judges could select any combination of Best Project and Award of Merit category winners. In some categories, the judges decided not to award a prize in a category.
