Some outdated road maintenance equipment could soon be replaced in North Grenville.
Council is scheduled to vote Tuesday on whether to purchase a backhoe and an all-season tractor.
The tractor and backhoe currently used by the township are from 2008 and 2009. Staff members say this means they are nearing the end of their normal fifteen-year life expectancy.
The combined cost of the new equipment comes to $387,547.45 before taxes, but the township plans to recoup some of that money by selling the older backhoe and tractor.
The City Council votes on whether to make the purchase at its next meeting.
