Regional One Health has selected its design and construction partners for an academic medical center of $ 1 billion more at the Center of Memphis, Tenn.
The announcement of September 29 called Memphis Healthcare Builders, a joint company of Turner Construction, Flintco Construction, Nickson General Contractors and Fifer & Associates, as responsible for the construction, with a leading design in HDR along with several memo -based architectural and engineering companies.
The qualifications application required significant local participation and prevented exclusive team agreements, fostering multiple collaborations. The final awards reflect this mandate, as national companies associated with MEMPHIS -based companies through design and construction.
“These companies have been associated with local companies, ensuring that a significant part of this investment is kept here in Memphis,” said Dr. Regional Coopwood, CEO of Regional One. Mayor Lee Harris called the investment “a historical commitment to the health and future of our community”.
