Messer Construction Co.

“The Veterans Administration Hospital and BlueOval SK are big projects under construction, and an adjacent Meta data center in southern Indiana is next,” says Megibben. “These major projects are really driving the construction market right now. In addition, West Louisville’s revitalization is gaining momentum with the construction and early opening of West Louisville Hospital, the first hospital built in West Louisville in more than 150 years .Louisville is seeing diversity in the types of projects, including major projects planned for the healthcare, hospitality, transportation and bourbon industries remains strong. We don’t expect big changes next year.Louisville’s growth, and our business, has been steady, which helps minimize the challenges associated with sharp increases and declines ‘interest and labor shortages have certainly led to an increase in construction costs, and owners’ budgets have not necessarily adjusted to the reality of these costs. Labor shortages remain an important factor in the sector”.
