Autodesk announced at his Conference on Users of the University of Autodesk on September 17 a new form of form tools of form, while making his emblematic construction information design program, more deeply connected to the form of the form industry.
The software giant also unveiled a new product, the design of creation in shape and said that its existing conceptual design design planning tool, Autodesk form, will be received as a form design design. Autodesk AECO’s executive vice president, Amy Bunszel, said that Revit will be the first program of “connected client” to the new cloud in the form, which is a receiving from the existing cloud and autodesk construction platforms.
Beta launch at the end of this year, the design of the form is invoiced as a design tool for the parametric building, offering 200 and 300 level design details through the BIM Forum Development Specification Levels. Autodesk also said that automated and non -fulfilling AI design tools and integrated analysis capabilities will become part of the Cloud design capabilities at the end of this year or 2026.
The AEC’s Vice President of ACODESK Nicolas Mandon told attendees that form design users will be able to check facades, explore interior designs, and optimize performance with carbon analysis and day analysis metric metrics.
Reassuring revit users
“We do not try to make the cloud reinforce, but we are trying to find new ways to do some of the tedious things you do, in the National Cloud environment,” said Bunszel. “We have created this bridge between the native applications of form and revit. And, therefore, the data will be bidirectional, and we have the library of unified content in ACC, which is now form, so you could see a possibility where it begins to encompass everything.”
Revit users will be able to use shared, granular and cloud capabilities for tasks such as environmental analysis and design of the creation facade directly within the BIM desktop tool, without the need for exports, imports or re -elaborations. Autodesk continues to develop their desktop design tools as they work to solve the flow and cloud workflows through the form and revit and autocad tools.
Bunszel announced that Revit will be the first official customer Connected form, a designation for desktop products deeply integrated with the cloud wider. Autocad and 3D civilian will connect on a later date.
Arne Bjelland, the main head of form design, showed a preview of the design environment, still in beta, and performed basic tasks such as the placement and dimensioning of the windows, as well as environmental analysis. He also invited users to join -on the building’s design waiting list. The design environment seemed much faster than the traditional desktop design during the demonstration, and Bunzel said that while he uses geometry and parameters similar to reinforcement many of these connections and it was detailed and kept around the cloud instead of storing -locally and relying on a user’s CPU or GPU processing power.
