Pre-tax profit reported by Esh Group in its annual financial results for 2022, up from £530,000 the previous year. Turnover rose to £261m, up 2.4% or £6m on 2021. Esh chief executive Andy Radcliffe said: “Our focus on targeting key sectors with a lower risk profile has provided us with a finely balanced income portfolio that has served to insulate us from the extremes of challenges experienced by the industry in general”.
CHINA’S CRISIS
“Macroeconomic issues” contributed to the fall in turnover and profits at Chinese state-owned BCEGI UK. The Manchester Airport-based company posted a pre-tax loss after revenue plunged 61 per cent in the year to 31 December 2022.
