In addition to the winners of the 2025 main category on the following list, the best projects and sustainability awards will be announced, which are jurized by a separate group of safety and sustainability experts, will be announced in the free electronic newsletter Enr East. The selection of judges for this year’s overall project from the best winners at the project level shown below will be announced at the November 24 number.
All the winners will be recognized at the ENR Midatlantic Best Awards on November 20. For more information on the regional event of better projects, visit: https://www.enr.com/enr-best-projects-awards/baltimore
This year’s winning projects in the main categories – calls at the end of this post – will also be in depth in the November East printing number. The projects were located in Delaware, Maryland, Pensilvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the Columbia district.
The judges were divided into two groups and assigned a group of categories. The projects were evaluated on the capacity of the project team to overcome the challenges, contribution to industry and community, security and construction and quality of design. Due to the large number of tickets, we can only cite a fraction of projects sent each year, so that the projects that have not won this year can be presented next year if they are still eligible.
Judges could select any combination of the best level of the project and the award of winners in the merit category. In some categories, the judges decided not to give a category award.
This year’s Midatlantic Judges for the main categories were: Andrew J. Graham, senior associate, technical director of Leo A. Daly; Grisel Gray, director of pre -construction and estimation of Gilmore Construction; Masjood Jafri, Solution leader – Energy Transition, Strategic National Energy Transition Adviser, Arcadis; Brian Neckermann, senior project manager of the WalSH group – Walst Construction & Archer Western; Lucia Sanchez, project director of PJ Dick and Chuck Tomasco Jr. President of Division C3M Power Systems
