Enr West is pleased to announce the winners for the regional competition of better regional projects in the northern subregion -west.
After several weeks of hard work, an independent group of AEC experts reviewed 49 projects from all over Washington, Oregion and Alaska to select 15 best projects and 18 merit awards. The projects were evaluated on the capacity of the project team to overcome challenges, their contribution to the industry and the community, security and construction and the quality of the design.
The 2025 competition judges are:

- Anne Timmermans, Senior Consultant, Parametrix
- Aaron Yohnke, Vice President of Corporate Services and ICS, PCL
Additionally, Pooja Sannamani, senior associate, sustainable buildings and infrastructure leading with Aecom, judged the Excellence in sustainability Contest and Susan Delaney, CEO of Delaney Safety, judged the Excellence in safety contest.
As always, in order to avoid conflicts of interest, our judges did not score any category in which their companies presented tickets and abstained from scoring projects on which they had any participation.
All the winning teams of the project, as well as the owner of the year, the design firm of the year, the contractors of the year, the specialized contractor of the year and the winners of the Legacy Award – will be p.In -depth rofiled at December West’s December printing number and Recognized at a prize event on December 16 in Seattle. In addition to selecting the winners in the category, judges will also choose three finalists for the The North 2025 project -West by Enr West. The finalists will be Announced in October and the winner revealed to the December Awards event.
