Why builders focus on water infrastructure

Water is one of the fundamental components of life. But it is also becoming a growing focus of the construction industry as the need for water infrastructure projects gains momentum.

With an acquisition in Texas that allowed the buyer to capitalize on a wider reach, a nearly $600 million wastewater plant in California on the shores of San Francisco Bay, and two public builders calling for the growing contribution of water to their bottom line, money is clearly flowing into the segment.
