A worker has died at a Barratt David Wilson Homes construction site in Ramsgate, Kent, the builder has confirmed.
Kent Police were called after a man was injured at a site on New Haine Road in Ramsgate on Tuesday evening (November 14).
Emergency services attended the incident at the Spitfire Green development, near Manston village, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kent Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious and a report would be prepared for the coroner.
Barratt David Wilson Kent, a subsidiary of Barratt Developments, the UK’s biggest housebuilder, said it was co-operating with authorities investigating the incident.
“We are deeply saddened to confirm that a person working at our development in Manston died yesterday,” a spokesman said.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with his family, friends and co-workers.
“We are supporting teams on site and the relevant authorities as they investigate what happened.”
The Health and Safety Executive said it was aware of the incident and was in contact with Kent Police.
