Despite supply chain delays, the project is on schedule as a result of the early procurement of electrical equipment, panels and switches, as well as mechanical air handling units. McCarthy’s artisan labor team has completed the project’s concrete, civil, plumbing and steel work. This is ASU’s first construction project to use several prefabrication innovations, including off-site and assembled multi-store corridor frames, prefabricated support panels for the building enclosure, and a unistrut system on the deck cast into the slabs for future flexibility.
