Skanska has signed a $450 million contract with the Massachusetts Port Authority for construction improvements at Boston’s Terminal E at Logan Airport, the company announced on December 13.
As part of the project, the Sweden-based contractor and developer will build a new 725,000-square-foot, 5,000-space Terminal E parking lot. The structure will be built over an existing parking lot in front of Terminal E, a Skanska spokesperson told Construction Dive. Construction will begin in the first quarter of 2025 and the garage is expected to be completed in 2028.
