Constructiviq, an integrated purchase tool, planning and monitoring of materials based on artificial intelligence, has been deployed throughout the company for RD RDP construction since the beginning of February.
The three -year -old startup is a WND Ventures graduate, the contractor’s risk capital capital. Constructiviq integrates all the flow of shipping and the material on a platform, such as connecting the user estimate spreadsheets with data from an ERP system, a common hiring problem.
“In each business unit, there was something about the hiring that, when we digest it, was really related to the way the project engineers go and identify data that exist in a drawing or specification or more than trying to make sense from the point of view of the purchase,” says ATUL Khanzode, DPR technology officer. “You have all these steps you need to take, such as the availability of material that includes store drawings and sometimes there is lead time in approvals.”
Hiring Life Cycle
Integrating all the flow of contracting work, such as purchase, sending and materials, with a program of master projects, the tool allows the RDP and its subcontractors to plan and manage a contract. “Last year was the year to remove our product and really work with early adoption customers such as DPR,” says Sadanand Sahasrabudhe, the CEO CEO, who had 30 years of experience in developing software before co -founding the company, which was his third startup.
The larger projects that already use Contactiviq include a $ 800 million Meta Data Center and the $ 700 million renewal of the Penn State University Football Stadium in State College, Pa.
Instead of coping with SILED data in spreadsheets and shipping and delivery schedules that never interact, the construction platform provides all activities related to hiring on a critical path. With information on spreadsheets, “Get relevant data from many different silos, such as Process Orautodesk project management data, is a manual exercise,” says Sahasrabudhe.

In his vision of the board, Constructiviq emphasizes, in greens, tasks in which the crews are working and in red, in which a contractor plans to address in the future, offering a global view of the life cycle from end to extreme.
The data can be removed from constructiviq from excel spreadsheets or popular estimation tools, and a calendar can be created from scratch or imported from spring P6, a key feature, given its popularity, according to Sahasrabudhe. Project management software data can be imported through open application program interfaces.
The system allows users to “create all shipments, but not just within the system,” says Khanzode. “You can also import data from Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud … so they don’t need to do it twice. Then they can do the same with spring, where we carry it with the Xer file.”
Constructiviq AI AI is still working, but it can already help project managers with recommendations. “The goal is to use the IA to say -to the rookie project engineer when we see the available data,” you may have a situation here where you have to do the field measure, “says Sahasrabudhe.” But [users] May not realize [they’re] It depends on a programming activity and must plan it. There are so many materials for tracking and complexity, maybe things can be missed. “”
