Due to its success as one of the largest engineering, recruitment and management companies for semiconductors in New York, their successful trajectory helping customers sailing a state regulatory process and their support for the local community, Arcadis North America has been selected as a New York New York design firm.
Selected by ENR publishers, The design firm of the year demonstrates success in the region from the point of view of growth and revenue, as well as innovation, creativity and commitment to return to its community. The firm will be presented at the East Print Print number, which will also include the rankings Enr East Top Design Firm.
The Ranking Enr East Engineers and Architects includes businesses that do business in Connecticut, Delaware, Washington, DC, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pensilvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. The rankings are based on the total regional income of the design services of the participating companies, and also include the state income and various specialties and design disciplines, as they are applied.
The new ranking follows the consolidation of 2025 of the regional Editions of Enr in five new regions to reflect a continuous commitment to offer the most important and timely coverage to the readers, in line with the evolution of the landscape of the construction industry. With more than 1,100 people across the state, Arcadis has Offices in Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Albany, White Plains, Melville and New York.
In addition to working on large water and useful transport programs in New York, the ARCADIS EPCM equipment for semiconductors helps customers such as NY CREA, applied materials, electron Tokyo, Globalfounds and IBM to increase private investment in US technological innovation.
The firm experience that browses the State Regulatory System helps the time limited projects to advance to New York, where customers have access to the company’s world vertical verticals and the full reach of their capabilities.
The collaborations of the firm with local universities include the Pratt Institute and its new climate adaptation center and the University of Syracuse and its annual Capstone Design Course on a higher level of Capstone for Civil and Environmental Engineering students.
Another way that Arcadis supports the community is through its local program Sparks. Each year, the program supports several outstanding projects funded by the global organization, with projects chosen based on its capacity to have a powerful positive impact. Outside of funding, this program promotes and puts a point of view in community projects led by Arcadian around the world.
In Syracuse, the firm was associated with the city, Suny Esf and the School District of the City of Syracuse to transform a city park country house, giving a significant impact on the quality of life in a very diverse and economically disadvantaged community.
In Buffalo, the firm collaborated with the University of Buffalo STEM diversification through the Arcadis Pathways to Engineering program. Last year the program supported Burgard High School (an interior cities school in Buffalo) to help promote STEM careers. The program included a “egg drop” lesson where students provided various materials and were asked to build a system using only these materials to protect their egg when they dropped.
The firm makes a collection of toy funds for all holidays in New York City and has participated in Cycle for Survival for 14 years to support rare cancer fund collection for the Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Center. They are also involved with Cava to support the city’s harvest.
Last year, Arcadis occupied the 326.45 million dollars in regional revenue. The previous year took place number 6 with $ 217.29 million in regional income.
