The United States Navy has chosen 12 bidders to compete for task orders under an indefinite indefinite delivery of $ 990 million/indefinite amount of the multiple award construction contract that covers a variety of infrastructure projects in the locations in the Indo-Pacific region.

The contract was expected to be awarded by the Command of Engineering of Naval Installations (NAVFAC) will cover various types of design design projects. It is under the Pacific Death initiative of the United States Department of Defense, which focuses on the combination of China’s military rhythm and on developing “a resistant security architecture as part of a modernized joint force,” say defense officials.

Sixteen companies presented for the work. The twelve selected contract adjudicators include black construction JV; CDM CONSTRUCTORS INC .; Federal container Services LLC; ECC EXPEDICARY CONSTRUCTORS LLC; Icon SI (AUST) Pty Ltd .; MVL uses Inc .; Dwarf inc.; Pacific Rim International LLC; Rellying Global LLC; Sea Pac Engineering Inc .; and SLSCO LTD, according to a defense notice.

The structure of the contract allows “rapidly drop-down” capacity for construction for various resistant infrastructure projects, said Garrett Fung, director of the United States Indo-Pacifical Publications Management Office, in a statement.

The contract is eight years old.

“This award represents a significant milestone and the culmination of Pacific Navfac’s innovation in work with industry partners to develop this tool for accelerated infrastructure delivery,” said captain Chris Coggins, an assistant Navfac Pacific commander for operations in a statement.

Officials awarded the first task order of $ 1.3 million to Sea Pac Engineering to work on a control and control facility and integency melting center in Isabela, Philippines, with the work that will be completed in July 2026.

Another construction of the contract will be held in the Caroline, Commonwealth Islands of the northern Marian Islands, in the Northern Australia territory, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Maldives and other areas.
