Nikki Greenberg is an internationally known futuristic and strategist of innovation that helps companies to prepare for tomorrow. It will be a prominent speaker at the annual conference of the National Women Association in Construction (Nawic), which will take place on August 20 to 23 in Boston, Massachusetts. The theme of the conference is “Together We Reling”. Greenberg has recently shared some of the concepts he will talk about at the conference.

It begins to point out that most industries face generational changes. These are changes in the values of the company, the changes in the workforce and the expectations of the evolving client. Another topic is emerging technologies, which cause rapid changes. “These are things like artificial intelligence (IA), robotics and spatial computer science,” he says. “I will also address how organizational leaders can prepare for the future, including what the internal changes need to be adopted in order to be more future.”
Greenberg sees that women set examples as crucial for their growth in the construction industry, saying: “I think one of the important things, whether its traditional construction or its future construction, is that there must be this role model, because there is this great phrase:” You cannot be what you cannot see. “
Understand what happens, find your place and have fun –
To prepare for the future, Greenberg suggests several key elements. The first is to develop an understanding of the trends and technology that make up the industry. He states that this could be how the AI makes certain elements of the construction more efficient or that they can be changes in the workforce.
Secondly, he says, what to do about it. “This is to find out how a leader or organization can innovate and adapt to this evolving world.”
The next is that in this emerging technologies landscape, “ everyone has a place, even an experienced veterinarian can have a place in the future. I do not think there is no place for you.What you are building today has to take the time test.A futuristic mentality is not only for children of 20 years old. People in construction is a solver of problems and they have an intrinsic mentality forward. ”
Finally, encourage people to see that the future is fun and looking for the new possible things. The use of humanoid robots in construction sites is an example. Another is the NASA contest recently to design and build a habitat through martial dust simulated as a main building material. He states, “The lessons learned from this exercise on Earth could be used for space exploration. What else can we do today to be prepared for the future tomorrow? And this is whether they are the most pragmatic elements such as the adaptation to the AI or the wildest futuristic things, such as the workplace robots and the construction of a habitat on Mars.”
Kelly Aust, President of Nawic, appreciates how Greenberg’s vision of the future is in accordance with his association’s mission and is eager to hear -talking to the annual conference in August. “Nawic has shown that when women defend progress, the entire construction industry benefits.” Aust says: “We see the future as creating opportunities, remodeling policies and refusing to accept exclusion.”
