The construction has begun Kelso 1 and 2 solar projects of Aevon Energy In Scott County, Missouri, according to a statement on May 1 by the Renovable Energy Developer based in Scottsdale, based in Arizona.

The $ 430 million $ 500 million project is the first renewable energy project of Aevon useful to Missouri. The renewable energy arm of Corp Services Primaris, a Dallas -based utility and energy contractor, is building both phases, depending on the launch. Aevon will own and operate the facilities.

The project will have more than 450 employees during the maximum construction, mainly from the local areas, according to the statement. Last year, Aevon signed a Long -term purchase agreement with Meta For the Solar Kelso project that will provide its operations in the region with 100%renewable energy.

“Kelio Solar sets the entrance from Aevon to Missouri and, when operational, will increase almost 50 percent the state -of -the -art solar capacity. This important project promotes the growing presence of Aevon in the United States Midwest Region, which is a priority market for the development activities of our company,” said Kevin Smith, CEO of Kevon Smith.

Aevon is expanding its presence in the Midwest, according to the launch. The firm is currently building four other solar projects for a total of 744 megavatios in Indiana with capital costs over $ 1.1 billion.

It is expected that the first phase of the project will begin operations in the fourth quarter of 2025, with the second phase after the first quarter of 2026, said Aevon.
