Finalists of the year project

The finalists of the year project (L A R) are Asu Wilson Hall, Fab 52 and Mountain Line Downtown Connection Center.

Enr Mountain States and Southwest announced last month the category winners for their best south -west projects competition -recognizing the best in design and construction in Arizona and New Mexico. In addition to these awards, the judges selected from all the winners three projects as finalists of this year’s project. Sustainability and sustainability experts also selected winners for these special awards.

All project winning teams will be recognized at Phoenix at a lunch on November 13 at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel. Click here for more information about the event and to record -SE.

The event will also recognize several prizes throughout the year: the AEI year design firm; Contractor of the year Layton Construction; And our specialized contractor of the year, which is TBD. We will also recognize the winner of the South Legacy Award -Oest, Steve Chanen.

Finalists of the project of the year (in alphabetical order)

  • The State University of Arizona Wilson Hall, located in Tempe, Ariz. Sent by the construction of the holder
  • Fab 52 (Project Eagle), located in Chandler, Ariz. Sent by Hoffman Construction
  • Center for the center of the mountain line, located in Flagstaff, Ariz. Sent by Loven Contracting

Two judges selected excellence in security winners, with a special emphasis on security programs, cultures and results:

  • Ryan Burns, Director of Field Operations, Kovach
  • Matt Gilliland, Security Director, Chasse Construction Team

The winners are:

  • Award Excellence in Security: Fab 52 (Project Eagle), located in Chandler, Ariz. Sent by Hoffman Construction
  • Merit Award: South Central Extension/Downtown Hub, located in Phoenix. Sent by Kiewit

A judge selected excellence in the winners of sustainability, where the submissors exceeded sustainable design and construction goals.

  • Chris Kelly, Design Director, Architekton

And the winners are:

  • Excellence in Sustainability: Mountain Line Downtown Connection Center, located in Flagstaff, Ariz. Sent by Loven Contracting
  • Merit Award: Arizona Children’s Crisis, Wellness Child & Family Center, located in Mesa, Ariz. Sent by the Chasse building team

Scott Blair

Blair leads the daily operations of the Edr Editorial Team to ensure brand quality and best practices. He launched the various ENR competitions, including the best projects and the excellence award, organizing editorial content in events, including the conference of main young professionals. Blair often contributes to Jesse H.
